Where is Bassi Falls Located

The trailhead is off Ice House Road, approximately 15 miles south of Pollock Pines, California. The total round-trip distance to Bassi Falls is roughly 4.6 miles, offering a moderate-level hike suitable for individuals of varying fitness levels.

Scenic Beauty

As you begin your hike, you'll experience a stunning display of natural beauty. Towering pine and cedar trees provide ample shade along the trail, and creeks will play music throughout your journey.
It was raining and warm on the day we took this hike and these photos. The sky rumbled with thunder, creating the perfect atmosphere for a unique hiking experience. The rain drizzled on the warm forest floor and our senses filled with the smell of warm pine and wet dirt. Delish!

The trail features a gradual elevation gain of 500ft, making it accessible to most skill levels. The path follows alongside Bassi Creek, ensuring a refreshing soundscape and occasional glimpses of wildlife.

The Magnificent Bassi Falls

After approximately 2.3 miles of hiking, you'll be rewarded with the grand spectacle of Bassi Falls. Prepare yourself to be in awe of the sight and sound of the waterfall cascading 109 ft down a granite cliff. Peak flow is in spring and early summer.
